Transport

Compiègne town is reachable from three international airports :

• Paris Orly, in the south of Paris and is 100 Km far from Compiègne 

• Paris Charles De Gaulle (CDG), in the north of Paris and is 60 Km far from Compiègne

•  Paris-Beauvais Airport is 60 km far from Compiègne

As Compiègne is in north-east of Paris, we recommend to chose intrenational flights to Paris CDG or Paris-Beauvais.

From all airports, Compiègne can be reacched by taxis or trains via ‘Paris Gare du Nord’ or Beauvais. However, there will be a heavy strike of railways workers on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th April. So, there might be only few or NO trains circulating these 2 days. Part of Air France personnel observes a stricke on these 2 days. Thus, it is recommended to choose alternative airliners and use CDG or Beauvais airport as arrival/departure airports from which you can take a taxi directly to Compiègne.
